How To Beat The Fire-Summong Beasts Event In Elden Ring: The Forsaken Hollows

Elden Ring: Nightreign’s first big DLC drop has officially been released, and it’s bringing a whole host of new things, trying to reduce you to a red mist. From bosses to enemies to new classes you can play, there’s quite a lot to dig your teeth into.

One of these is the new field event called Fire-Summoning Beasts, which will see your team running around the map to defeat three bosses to obtain a pretty awesome passive buff. Here’s everything you need to know about it and whether this event is actually worth the effort.

How To Beat The Fire-Summoning Beasts Event

The Fire-Summoning Beasts event will trigger right after Night 1, with three distinctive red circles appearing around the map. Players will be informed that this event has been triggered via a text prompt in the top right corner, and entering the red circles will turn the screen a reddish color with embers flying everywhere.

At the epicenter of each red circle will be a Sundered Tricephalos, which is one of the large wolves that the Nightlord of the same name splits into. Now, this enemy doesn’t have a lot of health and is especially weak to Holy, so if you’re running a Revenant or Undertaker, you can utterly melt this foe.

Remember, defeating a Sundered Tricephalos will power up the remaining ones, so be prepared for a tougher boss after each subsequent one.

The Sundered Tricephalos possess the same attacks as the Nightlord variant, so don’t expect any big surprises. However, I do recommend getting ready to run the moment you kill one. This is because it will spawn three smaller versions of itself that will chase after you when it dies. And when I say chase after you, I mean it. These hellhounds are ruthless in their pursuit, so your choices are to turn and face them or keep moving.

When you arrive at the next one, if you didn’t kill the dogs, they will be waiting there with the Sundered Tricephalos. Killing this one will, you guessed it, spawn even more hellhounds that give chase and increase the strength of the last one. Each of these bosses will net you 26,910 Runes, for a grand total of 80,730 Runes if you slay all three of them.

Defeating the Fire-Summoning Beasts event will reward your entire team with the Beast’s Hunt passive. This buff will increase your stamina recovery for the entire team and allow you to regain stamina on successive attacks. While it’s not the flashiest buff you can get, the stamina recovery this generates is pretty nice and can absolutely make a difference for melee-based classes that will be constantly running around.
