When you go to the Zoo to look for Lizzie in High on Life 2, you run into multiple bounty hunters who are looking to kill her. The main one is the skateboard-loving lizard, Reptical.
He seems like a cool guy, but you must fight him to protect Lizzie. So, you engage in the first big boss battle of the game. Since he’s a talented bounty hunter, it can be a tough little scrap. To make it easier, here is a guide to taking him down.
Reptical’s Moves
The main thing Reptical does during the fight is skate around the area while shooting back at you. To do this, he uses a burst fire gun that quickly unleashes a few projectiles at once. These projectiles are pretty large, so you can see them coming and often dodge them.
His other main way of dealing damage is through his bombs. He regularly throws a cluster of bombs at you that unleashes clouds of poisonous gas. These are more dangerous than his gun, so avoid them at all costs.
His last trick is to release large amounts of green gas in parts of the area. There’s nothing you can do about this except avoid the gas-filled places. Unfortunately, this gives you less room to maneuver during the fight.

How To Defeat Reptical
You learn to use the skateboard right before this fight, which is a small clue that you should use it during the battle. With it, you can keep up with Reptical’s speed, allowing you to chase and shoot him. That is the standard way to hurt the reptile, but it doesn’t have to be your only tactic.
Sweezy’s Time Bubble attack is also very effective. Aim it slightly in front of Reptical as he’s in full flow to significantly slow him down for several seconds, giving you the chance to get some free hits in. This is where Gus comes in handy since he does a lot of damage per hit.
When you wear him down enough, you will occasionally get opportunities to get in close and melee him, which results in you cutting his arm off. This does significant damage, so make the most of it.
Keep doing all of this until his health is depleted and you win.
