The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an anime open-world MMO that’ll have you playing as familiar characters from the anime. Of course, as a gacha game, you’ll have ot pull on banners to get access to the SSR characters on their banners. Of course, each gacha system has its own pity system, determining how much you’ll need to invest to guarantee the character you want to pull for.
As usual, there are several banners to pull from, with specific banners hosting the select featured character and a higher rate to pull them at. Here’s everything you need to know about how the gacha and pity system works.
Gacha System, Explained
The gacha system features two hero banners. Each banner contains both weapons and heroes. You don’t have to pull on a specific weapon banner in this game, so you can focus on pulling for heroes.
The permanent banner will always be available to pull on with its own specific currency. The limited-time banner, which contains the featured character, will last for 21 days.

Banner Rates
Each banner has its own SSR and exclusive banner character rates. Getting an SSR unit on the featured banner is harder, however, it’s your only option for getting the featured character.
The featured character does not appear on the permanent banner. You must pull from that banner to get the exclusive SSR hero.
You’ll have an easier time getting an SSR on the permanent banner at the cost of the featured character. Here are the rate breakdowns for each banner.

Heartopia: All Currency Types, Explained
Heartopia hands you a lot of currencies and very little explanation. Let’s fix that.
Pity System, Explained
Each banner has a pity system to guarantee you an SSR unit after several pulls. The limited-time exclusive Pick Up Hero banner offers the following pity options:
- A guaranteed SSR hero every 80 draws.
- Get the featured unit guaranteed at 120 draws with the Pick Up Hero bonus.
Once you reach 80 draws, you’ll have a chance to get the featured unit. If you don’t get them, you’re guaranteed to obtain them after 120 draws. Meaning you’ll get a different SSR and still guarantee the exclusive unit a few draws later.
Similar to the Pick Up Hero banner, the Regular banner offers a guaranteed SSR hero within 80 draws.
While both banners offer a guaranteed SSR hero after 80 draws, progress is not shared. Each bar for draws fills up individually, so you can’t do 80 on the Regular banner and continue to 120 on the Hero Pick Up banner.
Exclusive Skin Banner
There’s an extra banner slot, the Exclusive Skin banner. This banner offers items for enhancement, such as chests, potions, and growth items. This banner features a weapon skin, as you don’t have a specific weapon banner in the game.
The premium reward offers an outfit for a character. With the first banner, it’s a new outfit for Meliodas.
You can draw each item here only once. Due to this, you’re guaranteed to obtain every item in the banner within 10 draws.
