Just over six years ago, GTA Online unveiled the Diamond Casino & Resort, a lavish gambling den for players to waste away their hard-earned cash with every pull of the slot machine lever, but it wasn’t all risk and reward. Every day you log in, you earn a guaranteed, no strings attached, $1,000 visitor bonus, which you can either immediately splash on a game of chance, or pocket for a rainy day.
Looking back, after nearly a decade, u/cupcakegoesneenaw was curious at how much you could have earned if you decided to keep all of the visitor bonuses to yourself. As they explained, it has been 2,365 days since the casino first opened to the public, which means that you could have earned at least $2.365 million if you were dedicated enough to swing by every single day without fail.
This isn’t counting the double money weekends.
That’s equivalent to just over $30 worth of Shark Cards, so it’s not completely worthless, but you can make over $2 million from the Cayo Perico Heist alone if you hit a lucky run. I think u/PhilosophyUpstairs29 put it best, “Well that’s underwhelming”.
“2 Mil? That Is Nothing”
Granted, it doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to get the visitor bonus, so it’s an easy way to make a quick buck on the side, but when you consider how much some players have made from actually playing at the casino, the $1,000 a day just isn’t that exciting. Then again, there are players like u/cal_leat who say they’ve “probably lost 2mil” at Blackjack, so maybe it’s for the best if you stopped at the visitor’s desk. Such is gambling.
I’d rather just work an extra hour in real life and buy a Shark Card.

With GTA 6 finally on the horizon, hopefully for real this time, and presumably Online hot on its tail, it won’t be long before most of us are moving onto greener, Vice City pastures, so enjoy that daily visitor bonus while you still can. Who knows what Florida has in store for us.
