A reliable insider has predicted that Grand Theft Auto 6 will stick to its November release date and not end up costing $100 like we’re all dreading.
2026 is finally upon us, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the biggest years in gaming in quite some time. There are plenty of massive releases to look forward to already, including the long-awaited release of GTA 6, which is bound to be a monumental moment for the gaming industry.
Of course, that’s if it actually ends up releasing in 2026 like planned and doesn’t get pushed back again by Rockstar. Ever since the most recent delay into November, we’re all dreading the possibility that GTA 6 ends up slipping into 2027. One reliable insider doesn’t think that’s going to be the case, though.
Reliable Rockstar Insider Thinks GTA 6 Will Make Its November Release Date
Finally, A Positive Prediction About GTA 6
As pointed out by Twitter user GTAVI_Countdown, Insider Gaming recently shared a video breaking down its big predictions for 2026, which, of course, includes a lot of focus on GTA 6. In the video, Insider Gaming editor-in-chief and reliable insider Tom Henderson shares some of his thoughts on GTA 6’s impending release, and they’re surprisingly positive.

What GTA 6’s Delay Means For The Games Industry
The entire release calendar moves every time GTA 6 does, so how will the latest delay impact everything else?
Henderson predicts that GTA 6 won’t end up getting delayed again, as the recent six-month pushback was already “substantial” and the game has reportedly been content complete for some time. Insider Gaming also predicts that GTA 6’s standard edition will cost $80 instead of the $100 that everyone has been worrying about over the past year.
Insider Gaming also predicts that GTA 6’s PC release will launch around Fall 2027, which would be quite a surprise considering how long Rockstar usually takes with its ports.
While Henderson and Insider Gaming’s predictions are just that, predictions, and not to be taken as an official report or claim, it’s worth noting that Henderson has previously been spot-on with GTA 6 news and seems very tuned into the game as a whole. If anyone’s going to have a prediction about GTA 6 that’s worth listening to, it’s him.
I Don’t Think Starfield Is Capable Of Making A Cyberpunk 2077 Level Comeback
Bethesda’s latest RPG is likely coming to PS5, but don’t expect a comeback on the scale of Cyberpunk 2077.
