Seeing as we’re no longer getting the rumoured NewJeans season in Fortnite Festival, we reckon Gorillaz may be the next best thing.
The cartoon band created by Damon Albarn just works in Fortnite’s art style, with members 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Russel Hobbs, and Noodle all represented.
You’ll be able to get Noodle and 2D from the Fortnite Item Shop starting today, while Russel and Murdoc will both be available as premium rewards in the all-new Music Pass. You’ll also be able to unlock the song Plastic Beach as part of the pass, while Clint Eastwood, Dare, and the Feel Good Inc will be available from the Item Shop.
If all that’s not enough, a new Main Stage inspired by the Gorillaz will be available to rock out on, complete with “towering buildings, a street train, and enough graffiti to make this band feel right at home”.
Personally, we find this collaboration much more compelling than the likes of Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish, but each to their own.
