Amazon and PlayStation Productions have now cast Atreus in the upcoming TV adaptation of God of War.
The character will be portrayed by Callum Vinson, a young actor best known for his roles in Long Bright River and the Chucky TV series.
The God of War show will cover the story told in the Norse mythology games, where Atreus is the son of Kratos. The pair are forced to work together as they embark on a journey to scatter the ashes of mother and wife, Faye.
This news is the latest in a string of announcements about the ensemble cast. Vinson will star alongside Ryan Hurst as Kratos himself, while many supporting characters now also have names attached.
