This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.
It’s February, you know what that means. The video game holiday lull is coming to an end, and studios are readying to reveal what they have for us in the year ahead. Following in the footsteps of Xbox’s Developer Direct, which went down a storm, is the first Nintendo Direct of the year. Well, the first proper Nintendo Direct of the year, after the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream showcase and the mini Direct for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
I can’t believe they still haven’t shown us movie Wario.
Today’s Direct isn’t your typical Nintendo presentation. It’s a Partner Showcase, which means if you go in expecting a sneak peek of the next 3D Mario game, you’re going to leave disappointed. This Direct is dedicated to the third-party studios bringing games to the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, of which there are rumored to be quite a few in the pipeline for the latter.
Whether you watched along live and need a refresher, or you missed the Direct and need to catch up, we’ve got everything that was revealed, re-shown, and announced during February’s Partner Showcase below.
Everything Revealed During February’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase
Orbitals
The Partner Showcase kicked off with a more in-depth look at Orbitals, the co-op adventure we were shown last year created in the styles of a 1980s anime. We now know it will be launching exclusive on Nintendo Switch systems this summer.
Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse
The first new game of the Direct was Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse. An unexpected sequel to the well-received first game in the series, and it will be here really soon, launching on February 19, 2026.
Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters
Sticking with sequels, next up on the reveal slate was World Fighters, a sequel to Captain Tsubasa 2.
Tokyo Scramble
If you’ve been looking for something that’s a cross between Capcom’s Resident Evil and Capcom’s Dino Crisis, Tokyo Scramble might be right up your alley. A horror game that sees you naviagting your way around Zinos (no typo) using creative ways to take them out before they get you first. It releases exclusively on Switch 2 on February 11, 2026.
Valheim
Shifting frim unrevealed games and onto something that many of you have probably played already – Valheim. Somehow, the exploratory Viking hit wasn’t already on Nintendo consoles.
Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
Haven’t had enough Hollow Knight through Silksong? Good news, the Switch 2 edition of the original game is coming to Switch 2.
EA Sports FC rival eFootball is expanding its reach and coming to the Switch 2,
The Adventures Of Elliot: Millennium Tales
The Adventures of Elliot is lowkey one of the more exciting games coming to Switch 2 this year on June 18, 2026.
Super Bomberman Collection
Releasing later today, Super Bomberman Collection is a collection of games from the series that were all released on the Super Nintendo.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Is Coming To Switch 2 This Year
Just weeks after Final Fantasy 7 Remake finally arrived on Switch 2, we already know when our journey on the platform will continue. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth comes to Switch 2 on June 3, 2026, and pre-orders start today.
Pragmata
Capcom appears dead set on setting the benchmark for what third party games can be on the Switch 2. We already knew its upcoming space adventure, Pragamata, would be launching on Switch 2. The new look we were given during today’s Direct showed off how its puzzles will work and how its characters will work together.
Turok: Origins
We haven’t been shown much of Turok: Origins since its reveal in 2024 (barring a look at some surprise Funko Pops), so seeing it show up during the Partner Showcase was surprising. We also now have a release window of Fall 2026.
Kyoto Xanadu
Kyoto Xanadu is a blend of multiple genres, coming this summer.
Digimon Story Time Stranger
Last year’s Digimon Story Time Stranger comes to Switch and Switch 2 on July 10, 2026.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok
The day before we get Digimon on Switch, a new Granblue Fantasy: Relink game drops on July 9.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
March 13, 2026.
