FromSoftware’s lore team has it great. They create a strong narrative framework for the game and leave it up to the community to fill in the details. Of course, not all of us have the time or patience to read every item description and connect the dots, so we check out lore videos by YouTubers like the famed VaatiVidya.
I’m Pretty Sure Elden Ring Nightreign’s Final Boss Is You
Nightreign might be more important to the story of Elden Ring than we first thought.
With 3.27 million subscribers, the YouTuber created detailed and high-production lore videos with custom illustrations and gameplay on FromSoftware games and is quite a famous figure in the larger community due to his efforts. If watching videos isn’t your thing, VaatiVidya is taking his work to the written word by adapting his Elden Ring scripts into a book called Lore Bound: Elden Ring Explained.
VaatiVidya Is Making An Elden Ring Book Based On His Lore Videos
“I’m writing a book! An interpretation of Elden Ring’s lore. It’s my YouTube channel in physical form, and it’s called “Lore Bound””, said the creator in a YouTube post (thanks, PC Gamer). “This book will bind together everything I’ve learned from Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree, and Nightreign into one single volume. My old video scripts will be updated, new illustrations will be commissioned, and every effort will be made to ensure each page is clear and engaging.”
Available to pre-order on Tune & Fairweather, the hardbound Deluxe Edition of Lore Bound: Elden Ring Explained costs $95. A softcover edition with a sleeve is also available for $42, but you can also get one with a designer sleeve for $65. A free digital sampler is available on the website if you want to see how it will look.
From Now On, Every Game Will Be A Little Bit Elden Ring
It has been claimed that Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will take inspiration from Elden Ring, and it won’t be the last.
While there’s no concrete release date yet, the website says orders are estimated to ship in Q3 2026. Adapting all those videos will undeniably take some time. This will make a great gift for any Elden Ring fan. Not only does it feature some great curated artwork by the community, but will also help fill any holes in your knowledge of the Elden Ring IP.
