DLC We Really Want To See For Powerwash Simulator 2

DLC We Really Want To See For Powerwash Simulator 2

PowerWash Simulator provided us with a much-needed relaxing cleaning experience, and PowerWash Simulator 2 is no different. There are 38 levels to explore and clean, with three types of powerwasher and new ways to scale the heights of these unconventional locations.

However, while the story mode levels are both enjoyable and replayable, we can’t help but contemplate the likely upcoming DLC. The first game offered such diverse crossovers as Back To The Future, Warhammer 40,000, Spongebob Squarepants and Tomb Raider. With this in mind, we allowed ourselves to imagine all the other things we really want to clean up.

Star Wars

Making The Dark Side The Bright Side

Landing Pad At Hutt Outpost In Star Wars Outlaws.

I cannot think of anything more satisfying sounding than cleaning up some of the most iconic ships and locations in the Star Wars universe. I don’t need to see all the characters, or have anything strung together with a storyline. All I need are some space-worthy ships and my trusty powerwasher.

You wouldn’t even need to add too much dirt if you took inspiration from the movies. From A-Wings to X-Wings, every ship in Star Wars looks like it has decades worth of grime on it. I imagine that the Death Star in particular, would be incredibly annoying and yet supremely satisfying to clean.

Lego

Clean Whatever You Can Imagine

LEGO Voyagers Satellite Switches.

There are numerous Lego crossovers but all we need are those simple brightly coloured blocks. There are so many things you can make with them, and in a digital world where the bucket of blocks is never-ending, the only limit is your imagination. If you could craft something and then clean it we’d be even more impressed, but we’d settle for cleaning pre-built creations.

Hosing down a Lego city sounds like an amazing way to add a different dimension to the powerwashing experience. We have so many vehicles and houses already and making them out of Lego is a way to make them even more unique. Extra bonus points if I can clean a double-decker couch.

The Lord Of The Rings

Wiping Out The Enemy, With Water

Rivendell entrance in the Gollum Game.

Fantasy settings offer a wide range of beautiful buildings ready to be cleaned. Final Fantasy gave us some neat experiences, but cleaning places like Rivendell and Hobbiton from The Lord Of The Rings would surely take the experience of hosing down a fantasy world up to 11.

It’s not just the majestic buildings either. There are weapons of war that could do with a scrub, as well as beautiful elvish boats, the doorway to the Mines Of Moira and many other iconic items. We’d love to clean up the Dark Lord’s mess with a liberal amount of soap and water.

Cars

Lightning Fast Cleans

Pixar cars outside flos cafe.

Pixar is a studio which has provided a wide range of iconic characters and locations. While we’d happily clen up any Pixar movie setting, the one which stands out the most is Cars. Can you imagine cleaning down a car, filthy with dirt from a race or a session of tractor tipping, only for them to thank you afterward?

With Cars, you’re not just cleaning a vehicle, you’re helping someone get back to full racing form. Mater in particular always looks like he could do with a good clean, and I’d be happy to help him out. Flos Café and the gas station would also be fun to clean. Let me wash down Radiator Springs.

Animal Crossing

Taking Cleaning To New Horizons

Animal Crossing

Keeping with the theme of cleaning vibrant and colourful places, we’d also love to see an Animal Crossing DLC. Recognisable buildings like Nook’s Cranny, Blather’s Museum, or the Able Sisters store would be fun to clean, and you could pull from different iterations of Animal Crossing to find extra buildings or vehicles.

New Horizons in particular, has a sea plane and boat, alongside campsites, villager’s homes, and the iconic town hall. Who wouldn’t want to clean up the town in preparation for K.K. Slider? It’s just a new variation on the theme of the original quest chain, and one we’d love to experience.

Kingdom Hearts

Many Places In One

Kingdom Hearts Sora, Pluto and Donald ready to fight.

We’ve already had Final Fantasy DLC, and mentioned several Disney franchises we’d like to see, but what if we could combine them all into one huge DLC that covers a wide variety of worlds, characters and iconic weapons? Well, we could if we tap into Kingdom Hearts.

Luckily, in PowerWash Simulator you wouldn’t need to understand the series’ unconventional naming scheme, or the overarching plot that has more branches than an Ent. All you’d need to do is show up and get cleaning. There are so many unique, recognisable, and immersive worlds in Kingdom Hearts that it would be sure to keep any cleaner happy.
