Over a year after the game was unceremoniously shut down, PlayStation just randomly added some Concord merch to its online store, and it looks like it sold out almost instantly.
Despite shutting it down and removing it from sale mere weeks after its release, PlayStation clearly had big plans for Concord. Not only was it supposed to have an ongoing story that would accompany its live service elements, but it’s one of the few PS5 games to have its own DualSense controller, and there was even a short-lived line of official merch.
Concord’s lifespan was so short that the merch didn’t arrive until after the game’s servers were taken offline. A few months after that, what was left of the merch was finally pulled from sale, presumably because most of it had sold out, although apparently not. The headliner of the Concord merch line, a rather fetching black and orange hoodie, has reappeared on the PlayStation Gear store.
Concord’s Merch Has Returned From The Dead
Or at least it did, very briefly, as highlighted by Wario64. According to the account, the listing for PlayStation’s Concord hoodie returned from the dead a few hours ago. Not only that, its $60 price was cut to just $2, $1.50 if you’re savvy enough to use the EXTRA25 code at checkout to knock an additional 25 percent off the already incredibly low price.
It looks like only eight of them were available, and that they were only available in small. I joked when I first saw the hoodie had been restocked that PlayStation must have found a rogue box in the corner of a warehouse somewhere, but honestly, to all be one size, and for so few of them to be available, I’m starting to think that’s exactly what happened here.
I hit refresh while writing this article, and the listing went live again, but it wouldn’t let me check out. That said, if you want one of these hoodies, keep hitting refresh like you’re trying to buy a launch-day PS5.
The biggest surprise of all is that, if there really are only eight left, and PlayStation is willing to let them go for $2 each, why bother going to the effort of listing them at all? PlayStation stands to make a maximum of $16 and is almost certainly selling them for a loss. I guess every dollar recouped following Concord’s failure is considered a win at this stage.

The PlayStation Gear Store Is Shutting Down
The reappearance of the Concord hoodies and the hefty price cut are a part of the ongoing PlayStation Gear store shutdown. The online storefront that PlayStation sells merchandise through will be shut down on December 31, 2025, and as of now, there has been no announcement regarding whether anything will replace it.
Horizon Forbidden West’s collector’s edition was also hit with a hefty discount as part of the clearance sale. The CE’s usual $180 price was slashed to just $30. That’s less than it costs to buy the standard edition of the game. The collector’s edition was restocked after it sold out, so you never know, there might still be more Concord hoodies to go around.
