Capcom has been working to a schedule over the past few years of alternating between new mainline Resident Evil titles and then a remake of a classic. With Resident Evil Requiem planned for launch next month, history would suggest another remake will be next.
Resident Evil Requiem is out for PS5 on 27th February 2026, and it brings back fan favourite Leon for a journey back to Raccoon City alongside series newcomer Grace Ashcroft. Once their adventure is over, it appears Capcom plans to return to Rockfort Island.
