Traditionally, in Call of Duty Zombies, you get Wonder Weapons by spinning the Mystery Box and hoping that the disembodied voice, whoever that may be, is kind enough to lend you a hand against the encroaching horde of undead. However, the newer games also allow you to craft Wonder Weapons through convoluted and opaque mini Easter Eggs – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Black Ops 7 continues that trend in Ashes of the Damned with the Necrofluid Gauntlet, and getting it is no small feat. You’ll face an Uber Klaus, rescue a regular ol’ Kraus, rush around the map to a timer, and complete a random puzzle. Y’know, classic Zombies stuff.
Necrofluid Gauntlet Easter Egg Step-By-Step Guide
Below, we’ve broken down exactly how you can get the Necrofluid Gauntlet, but before we dive in, here are few key tips worth keeping in mind:
- If you’re playing solo, equip Aether Shroud,
- Klaus is key to the Easter Egg, but he will leave after a set amount of time; thankfully, you can re-summon him via the radio outside his cell.
- Make sure that you have the power enabled at all three locations (Ashwood, Blackwater Lake, Vandorn Farm).
- The Necrofluid Gauntlet can be Pack-A-Punched at Ol’ Tessie, and unlocking it will reward you with Zombies intel.

|---|---|
Open the Sheriff’s Office in Ashwood (500 points), found next to the Vulture Aid perk machine. |
Head to Janus Tower Plaza via the Blackwater Lake entrance, and an Uber Klaus will spawn |
Defeat the Uber Klaus to get the Stabiliser Chip. |
Bring the chip back to the jail cell in Ashwood, and install it in the scanner beside the gate. |
After the installation finishes, throw stun grenades into the cell at Klaus to wake him. |
Head to Zarya Cosmodrome with Klaus. Underground, in the Support Systems, you’ll see a canister locked behind a glass casing. |
Direct Klaus to the panel, interact with it, and stand in the red spotlight until the scan progress bar has been filled (this is where Aether Shroud comes in handy for solo players). Pick up the canister when the scan finishes If you step outside the scan for too long, you’ll have to wait until the next round to try again. |
You now need to charge the canister at each of the three power stations by killing zombies in their vicinity. We recommend going Ashwood>Blackwater Lake>Vandorn Farm. |
After charging it a third time at Vandorn Farm, quickly take it to the basement and interact with the strange Eldritch box. |
Drive to Janus Tower Plaza and take the jump pad back to Vandorn Farm. Mid-air, watch out for the three runes that appear on the tops of the barn, farmhouse, and silo. These are random every time, so you should take a screenshot to avoid repeat trips. |
Go back to the box and input the runes by interacting with each side. Don’t worry about the order. Each panel has a unique list of symbols – none are duplicates. |
Once you’ve input the symbols, interact with the eye on the back of the box. If you input them correctly, you can now take the Necrofluid Gauntlet from the opening. |
Doing so will trigger a lockdown. To lift it, shoot the green orbs that spawn around the room and reload to pull them towards you. Once you’ve done that to every orb, the lockdown will end. |
Now, you can exit the farmhouse with the Necrofluid Gauntlet in hand. |
