By following the recipes and making donuts with high concentrations of sweet flavoring, you can produce donuts with Sparkling power, which increases your chances of encountering shiny Pokemon.
In addition to Sparkling Power, you should also consider aiming for Alpha and Encounter Power in your donuts, as these will increase your odds of finding a shiny, particularly an Alpha Shiny Pokemon.
Once you’ve made enough donuts for your hunt, you should head to the nearest Hyperspace Lumiose wormhole, which features the Pokemon you want to shiny hunt in the greatest concentration. The three Pokemon on the Hyperspace preview screen will typically appear in higher numbers.

What Are The Best Hyperspace Lumiose Shiny Hunting Tips & Tricks?
There are a few major tricks for finding shiny Pokemon easily in Hyperspace Lumiose:
- Resetting Spawns
- Task Hunting
Resetting spawns is the best way to shiny hunt in Hyperspace Lumiose, with three main ways to execute this strategy:
- Run 70+ meters away, then run back
- Use the teleporters repeatedly
- Fly to the spawn repeatedly
These methods are only viable in medium and large Hyperspace dimensions, as the small location isn’t wide enough to get spawns to reset.
Running back and forth or flying to the spawn location are perfectly viable ways of resetting spawns. Pick a group of Pokemon you want to shiny hunt, then run until they disappear from the map or fly to the starting location. Run back, and a new group should appear featuring the same species of Pokemon.
However, the former can be slow, while the latter will force the game to save, thus preventing you from trying the hunt again using the same donut after saving outside of Hyperspace Lumiose.
The best way to shiny hunt efficiently in Hyperspace Lumiose is by finding a Pokemon group spawn location near a teleporter.
Make sure this teleporter takes you at least 70 meters away from the spawns you want to shiny hunt. Then, repeatedly tap A while standing on the teleporter, which should change your location almost instantly.
Doing this will reset the spawns, but will not reset the shinies that appear, since the game can store up to 20 shinies on the map for you at any given time.
Lastly, task hunting is the only guaranteed shiny-hunting method, aside from side missions. Every time you set foot in Hyperspace Lumiose, you’ll receive three tasks. Occasionally, you will receive a task to find a specific shiny Pokemon.
When this task appears, it means that the shiny Pokemon you’re asked to find has already spawned somewhere on the map, and you have to find it within your allotted time in the area.
To hunt for these tasks, and thus a guaranteed shiny spawn, you should come prepared with a donut that gives you ample time to search the entire map to find the shiny.
Typically, eight minutes should be enough, but you may want more for larger maps.
Make a save directly outside the portal before you begin your hunt, then enter the portal. If you do not see a task to hunt for a specific shiny Pokemon, immediately reset your game and try again.
With these tips and tricks, you should be finding plenty of shiny Pokemon throughout Hyperspace Lumiose.
