Battlefield 6 Player Finds Easter Eggs From Other EA Games

By now, we’re all grossly aware that Need for Speed, Battlefield and SKATE are all properties of Electronic Arts, and aside from Need for Speed, which is currently on ice, have all received new entries. As it turns out, there might actually be more than just a shared publisher and co-workers for these titles.

As shared on Twitter by Cameron Leverton, the advertisements seen in this trio of games have all been spotted in each of the universes.

For example, Double Dip Donuts, a fictional business that exists in Need for Speed Unbound, can also be found in Battlefield’s 6 world, as well as in SKATE’s own world of San Vansterdam.

Things got even wilder when one commenter shared that those same advertisements exist as sponsors in EA’s own UFC game.

While many were quick to begin speculating that this means EA’s games all share the same universe, AKA the EACU (EA Cinematic Universe), this could just be a prime example of asset sharing.

That said, it wouldn’t be the first time that games share the same world with other games.

Movies Aren’t The Only Things With Shared Universes

Although we still don’t have confirmation of the existence of a potential EACU, we do know for a fact that Dishonored and Deathloop do take place in the same world, as do all the Remedy games like Alan Wake, Control and Quantum Break.

Lest we also forget that Titanfall and Apex Legends are also connected, though Titanfall fans would almost certainly like to pretend that Apex doesn’t exist on account of not getting any new games and all. Which is to say, the shared universe thing has been done before, but we could also be complicating some asset sharing.
