Baldur’s Gate 3 Teams Up With Sirius For A Collection Of D20 Treasure Packs

Baldur’s Gate 3 aims to bring the D&D experience from the tabletop to video games, and now an official team-up with Sirius is returning the favor. Experts when it comes to crafting dice and miniatures to use on your tabletop adventures, Sirius’s latest collection is made up of D20 dice themed after creatures and characters from Baldur’s Gate 3, and there are 40 of them to collect.

Sirius has been able to pull from the world of Baldur’s Gate 3 thanks to a collaboration between it, toymakers Hasbro, and Wizards of the Coast. That potent combination has resulted in Baldur’s Gate 3 Treasure Packs. Treasure Packs are effectively blind boxes, so you won’t know which of the 40 dice you’re going to get until you open them up.

Each Treasure Pack Includes A Die, A Coin, And A Bag

There’s more than an officially licensed D20 waiting for you inside each Treasure Pack, too. Each one also includes a collectible coin – 21 to collect – featuring one of the game’s main characters, so be on the lookout for Shadowheart, Astarion, or whoever your favorite party member is.

It’s one of those two, isn’t it?

Your coin and your die also come with a Baldur’s Gate 3 bag to keep them in, with nine of those to find. The dice are the main event, of course, and just about everything from the Forgotten Realms is represented. There’s a fiery orange Infernal Engine die with Karlach’s face etched on it, a smoky-looking D20 starring Withers, and my personal favorite – and the one I’ll be hoping to see with every treasure pack I open – the Owlbear Cub die.

Something doesn’t look right.

Lucky for me, the Owlbear Cub D20 is one of the set’s common pulls. That’s right, it’s not as simple as a one in 40 chance of landing the die you want. There are five rarities: common, uncommon, legendary, rare, and artifact. Common is the rarity that will appear most frequently, while Artifact is the rarest.

The Hunt For The Astral Prism

Karlach’s Infernal Engine die is rare, so that will take some finding, and The Dark Urge’s red and white D20 falls under the legendary banner, so even harder to find. Only one of the 40 Baldur’s Gate 3 dice is considered an artifact, though. That’s the Astral Prism. Find that, and you’ve hit the Baldur’s Gate 3 Treasure Pack jackpot.

If you’re itching to start collecting and want to begin your hunt for the Astral Prism, or whichever dice, coins, and bags from the collection you like most, good news. They’re available now through the Sirius website. Each Treasure Pack costs $12.99, so it might take a lot of time and a lot of money to find all 40. I wouldn’t even like to try to calculate the odds on that.
