Being evil in Baldur’s Gate 3 is great if you want to change things up a bit, but the biggest problem with it is that you lose a lot of content. Entire plot points can sometimes be lost for every NPC you kill or sacrifice. However, there’s nothing really stopping you from annoying the hell out of them.
Baldur’s Gate 3 often gives you the chance to create some mischief. Just because you’re not being evil, it doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun. After all, nothing says the hero of Baldur’s Gate can’t also be the city’s greatest prankster. Fans have discussed some of their favourite mischievous things to do in the game.
The Troll Urge
Redditor toastedjupiter posted that they’re planning to do their next BG3 run as a mischievous bard who “does love messing with things they shouldn’t be.” So, they asked the community what are some of their favourite mischievous things to do. The answers range from selecting certain dialogues to going out of their way to mess with characters.
Of course, the most popular choice was desecrating Vlaakith’s portrait. The Lich Queen is revered and feared by the Gith, but a simple Van Dyke and a monocle can make her less intimidating. It’s even funnier when you make Lae’zel do it. Another popular one is disturbing the Bugbear and Ogre’s intimate moment in act one. Bonus points for getting them to fight each other.
Act three has a hilarious dialogue option at Sorcerous Sundries, when Tolna Tome-Monger tells you to keep your voice down because the books are sensitive. You can continue the conversation in whispers, or you can loudly ask the books “IS THAT TRUE, BOOKS? ARE YOU SENSITIVE?” causing them all to spontaneously combust.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Fans Are Wondering How The Show Will Address Everyone’s Different Endings
Does everyone get their happily ever after?
Nobody likes Balthazar, and one player suggested the best way to mess with him. You can use Knock to unlock the door he and his minions are hiding behind, and draw them into the fight against the Dark Justiciars. Once they’re all in the same room, simply head through the door and cast Arcane Lock on it. You’ll be safe, while he’ll have to battle the horde.
