Claws of Awaji, the first expansion for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, is out now on PS5.
The DLC promises to wrap up a few storylines that were left dangling by the end of the base game, while also whisking Naoe and Yasuke off to the titular island — a brand new location that’s yours to explore.
Ubisoft says that the expansion is roughly 10 hours long, which might come as a relief to players who have spent god-knows how many hours trekking across Shadows’ massive open world.
The plot revolves around a new faction called the Sanzoku Ippa, so you can expect to be tasked with killing off its leaders who are no doubt scatted across the island.
Players will, of course, be rewarded with new abilities and gear, while Naoe gets to play around with a new weapon type in the agile Bo staff.
