The Strength Stat
Strength refers to the pursuit of physical prowess, combat capability, brute force, and manhood in Esoteric Ebb. This stat is vital for completing feats of strength, from tearing down a boarded-up room to initiating fights with NPCs.
The Dexterity Stat
Your Dexterity stat is your ability to dodge enemies, traps, and other obstacles that will get in your way. Think of it like an acrobatic skill that makes you more skill and deft. It works well for stealthy characters as well, since you will need to roll dex when picking pockets.
The Constitution Stat
Your Constitution stat is directly tied to your HP and your ability to stomach gross and overwhelming situations. This stat is important for all builds, but more so for those who want to take heavy hits from monsters and traps alike. It represents not just your ability to handle things, but also your aptitude for stubbornness and how well you listen to your gut.
The Intelligence Stat
Wizards tend to have the best Intelligence stats, as it’s tied to power, ego, and memorization. They are well-versed in the arcane and can cast powerful spells with this stat, especially when they can memorize a spell at will to use in combat. You, however, will have to prepare these spells at a shrine as The Cleric.
The Wisdom Stat
Wisdom differs from Intelligence in the same way that empirical knowledge is different from applied knowledge. With a high wisdom stat, The Cleric is empathetic, in tune with their feminine side, and has a better understanding of esoteric events. This is an ideal Cleric stat if you’re going for a traditional build.
The Charisma Stat
Your Charisma influences how well you can manipulate and persuade others to do your bidding, as well as how easy it is to carry a conversation and charm people. By default, this is typically pretty low. However, it can be altered to help avoid certain combat encounters.
