Once you’ve enjoyed the first story section of Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, you’ll be able to gain access to all kinds of additional, optional masteries by pursuing the Life Skills available in the game. Hit player level 17 and see a whole new world of upgrades and perks become available!
Collect raw resources and use them in one of six crafting-based life skills in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, and you’ll be able to make furniture and gear, customize your outfits, provide healing boosts via cooked dishes, and accessorize in a way that boosts the most important stats for each class.
Craft Weapons, Furniture, Accessories, And More With Life Skills
When you’re between main story missions in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, you’ll have a variety of ways to keep earning EXP and enjoying the game – joining a guild to make friends and reap rewards, re-spec your character and learn to play as a different subsection of your class, and so much more. If you’d like to spend the time finding various ways to improve your combat or create furniture/gear recipes, the Life Skills menu that unlocks at level 17 is the place for you.
There are currently nine life skills, plenty of which are based in crafting. While each skill will have Regulars that don’t rely on this and can be made at any time provided you’ve got the materials or ingredients, he majority of the actions you’ll taken related to improving your life skills in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance will consume Focus, a metric for energy that’s shared across life skills. Consuming Focus helps fabricate recipes and improve your life skills, and serves as something of a time keep on progressing too far too quickly, in a game about slower but steady progression.
Consuming 300 Focus in any of your life skills rewards you with one Mastery Point, which you can spend to improve one of your life skills. The count is cumulative, meaning you’ll get one Mastery Point every time you’ve used that 300, no matter how many times you do it. Using those points to upgrade your life skill mastery will allow you to unlock new recipes for that life skill.
The six life skills that involve crafting are:
- Alchemy, a life skill that sees you creating all kinds of potions for use in battle.
- Artisanry, which is how you’ll make all the wooden furniture for your individualized Homestead, as well as the materials you’ll need to build them, weapons, and more.
- Culinary to provide all kinds of meals for buffs and healing in combat.
- Gemcrafting to help refine the gems you’ve been finding for use in accessories.
- Smelting that, like Artisanry, is how you’ll get metal furniture for the Homestead, as well as materials, weaponry, and more.
- Weaving, for when you’d like to craft clothing for your character and the dyes to recolor them.
While Botany, Minerology, and Gemology certainly help with these life skills, they’re collection-based skills themselves, not crafting, and so won’t be detailed in this guide.
Since all recipes are visible by default in the Life Skills tab in the main menu, we’ll be focusing in the tables below on the Masteries that unlock new recipes and teach you how to unlock each one. While you can see every recipe as soon as you unlock your skill in question, plenty of your ingredients, talents, or abilities will be locked behind improving your Mastery using the Mastery Points you’ve been earning. If you can’t find or craft an ingredient yet, you may need to upgrade a Mastery to gain access to it first.
If you find yourself using one of your life skills in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance more than the others, it might be wise to focus there and expand your mastery in that skill to ensure you have the fullest wealth of options.
All Crafting Masteries
In the tables below, we’ve included all the crafting masteries we’ve unlocked from the life skills in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. With so much work going into earning your Mastery point and each life skill sharing Mastery points, here’s a look ahead what you can look forward to unlocking access to by learning different mastery elements for your skills.
