We already know that Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok is big — it being an expanded re-release of the already sizeable Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
But up until now, we haven’t known how much it’s going to cost, despite developer Cygames confirming that existing owners will be able to take advantage of a discounted upgrade path.
Unfortunately, said upgrade is not not particularly cheap. The standard upgrade costs $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 / ¥3,960, and the ‘Special Edition’ upgrade is priced at $54.99 / £44.99 / €54.99 / ¥ 6,490.
The latter gets you a bunch of cosmetics and in-game items.
So it’s not quite as cheap as we had envisioned, but as mentioned, Endless Ragnarok is hefty in terms of additional stuff.
So hefty, in fact, that Cygames has just revealed yet more content, including two new playable characters: Fraux and Fediel. You can get a good look at them in the trailer at the top of this article.
And then we’ve got much more information on The Conflux. This endgame activity was outed previously, but it’s sounding more and more in-depth every time it’s brought up.
The second trailer, which we’ve embedded below, includes footage of fresh features like Summons and super-hard Chaos Quests. The Conflux gets a healthy chunk of screen time as well.
The bottom line here is that if you sank countless hours into Relink, grinding away in order to propel your characters to new heights, then Endless Ragnarok is probably going to consume you. The only potential obstacle is that upgrade cost.
What do you reckon? Is Endless Ragnarok a touch too expensive, or is it a reasonable price for what’s on offer? Perform a perfect dodge in the comments section below.
