Publisher Future Friends Games has announced the console release of Slots & Daggers, and it’s coming to PS5 very soon.
The game arrives on 15th May 2026, and you can get a taste for it in this new trailer:
Developed by a single person, Slots & Daggers is an arcadey, slot machine-style roguelike game in which you spin in order to do battle against increasingly tough enemies. The gold you receive from your successes can then be spent on upgrades, and you go again.
It’s a small and simple idea that’s gone down very well on PC, with thousands of Steam users rating it Very Positive.
If you’ve enjoyed games like Balatro or Luck Be a Landlord, this is probably well worth taking for a spin.
As an aside, the developer’s previous solo project, Summerhouse, is also coming to PS5:
This is a chilled out game about creating buildings in picturesque settings and just enjoying the vibe. There are no set objectives — it’s just a space to tinker with the environments to make them feel like lived-in places, unlocking little characters along the way.
It also comes to PS5 on the 15th.
There’s no word on pricing for either of these, but they’re both less than a tenner on Steam, so we’d expect them to be pretty affordable when they appear next week.
