Fans are already itching to stream Stranger Than Heaven’s theme song, which is surprisingly performed by musical icons like Snoop Dogg and Ado.
The song – debuted as part of last night’s big game reveal – also features performances from Satoshi Fujihara and Tori Kelly.
Ado, who’s one of Japan’s big stars at the moment, is a mysterious pop star who hides behind the avatar of an anime character. She’ll also make her voice acting debut in the game as the character Keiko Shirai, although RRG Studio says her character model has been designed specifically for the game, and isn’t based on her real-life face.
Snoop Dogg, meanwhile, needs no introduction. He’s been one of the biggest hip-hop stars in the world for decades, and has also appeared in multiple different games over the years, including Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Here he’ll play a smuggler named Orpheus.
SEGA’s yet to announce when the game’s theme song will be available to stream, but we reckon it should put it out ASAP; forcing us to wait until the title deploys this “winter” seems a bit harsh given the talent involved.
