If there’s one constant in the world, besides death and taxes, it’s League of Legends. Since its debut in 2009, the Riot Games-developed free-to-play MOBA has held strong, reaching as many as 172 playable champions, along with spawning several spin-offs, including a fighting game (2XKO), as well as a card game (Riftbound).
Oh, and a hit anime production from Netflix in the form of Arcane.

WASD Controls Won’t Bring New Players To League Of Legends, But Fixing The Worst Tutorial In Gaming Might
League of Legends having a terrible tutorial sixteen years after release is unacceptable.
As the LoL world keeps churning, one more champion is joining the fold. His name is Locke, and he was accidentally confirmed via an April Fool’s Day joke that was then deleted.
That said, given his presence in the “For the Fallen” motion comic, it’s been as big of an open secret as it can get.
Now, via a new leak, we know just what kind of moves Locke has, and it’s giving major Nobara Kugisaki vibes from Jujutsu Kaisen.
If There’s Another Character That Uses Nails Like This, Then We’d Love To Meet Them
As first spotted by Insider Gaming, leaker Big Bad Bear has released a new video on YouTube showing supposed footage of Locke in action, including some of his moves.
His “Q” skillshot is called “Soul Nail,” and it involves tossing a giant nail forward. His second form, which is still unclear, also involves nails that spin around him during the transformation. Go figure, that lines up with past rumors that this Champion would be giving off massive Jujutsu Kaisen vibes.
Those rumors also continue to paint Locke as an AP Champion best suited for the Jungle or Mid-Lane. Given that he’s the only “new” champion set for release in 2026, all eyes are on Riot to see if they will deliver.
As far as the Jujutsu Kaisen connection is considered, well, we’ve yet to get an actually good game based on the hit anime and manga, and this might be as close as we end up getting. At this point, JJK fans will have to take it.
