When you play a game like Raccoin, you might wonder how much luck and skill you need to be a good player. After all, this is a roguelike where things get more complicated as you play more, and it’s based on coin pushing machines, which already have a randomness factor that can work in your favor or against you.
The thing is, no matter how well you play, your selected difficulty level is what will really test your skills. Represented by tickets, each one will add a debuff or something special that will make your runs harder. Let’s go over every difficulty level in Raccoin.
Every Difficulty Level
There are eight difficulty levels in Raccoin, and we will go over them in the table below.
Keep in mind that every new difficulty includes what the previous one added. For example, Blue Ticket has its shop effect + the Crispy Ticket difficulty (the chance of Cooinkies).
|
Difficulty |
What It Does |
|---|---|
|
Green Ticket |
It’s the standard difficulty, unlocked from the start. |
|
Crispy Ticket |
Every Copper, Silver, and Gold coin that you insert has a 10% chance of becoming a Cooinkie. A Cooinkie is a coin with no value. |
|
Blue Ticket |
Each time you reroll in the shop, prices go up 20%. This is reset per round. |
|
Orange Ticket |
You have one less Clip Expansion limit (five). |
|
Wizard Ticket |
The Bad Coins you’ll get are BadBad or Demonic. The former can’t be converted or scored with other items’ effects, and the latter has a 66.6% chance to respawn. |
|
Evil Ticket |
The shop can now have Rust Coins, which are unmodifiable coins. |
|
Moo Ticket |
You start each round with a Sturdy Fence, which is a physical barrier that can’t be removed. |
|
Golden Ticket |
There’s one less coin to purchase in the shop per roll. |
