Sony has hosted either a major State of Play or a PlayStation Showcase every September for the past six years, and it doesn’t look like that’s about to change in 2025. Reports over the past couple of weeks have suggested the PS5 maker has something in store between now and the end of the month, and now the incredibly reliable leaker NateTheHate has said their piece on the matter.
In response to a user on social media, NateTheHate simply said: “Sony has a presentation soon.” This is assumed to be a State of Play livestream, as Giant Bomb member Jeff Grubb suggested last month that Sony is leaning that way over using the PlayStation Showcase branding.
