No, your eyes are not deceiving you. There’s another Mega Man collection out right now in the form of the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, which includes all seven Mega Man Star Force titles (Leo, Dragon, Pegasus, Zerker x Ninja, Zerker x Saurian, Black Ace and Red Joker) from the three Star Force games into one package.
With Star Force and Battle Network out of the way, everyone’s eyes are now turning to Legends, which is prime for its own Anniversary style collection.
TheGamer’s Axel Bosso gave it a 4/5 in his review, writing, “The Star Force Legacy Collection brings back the underrated spin-off in the best way possible. It looks and plays better than ever while also featuring a number of worthwhile bonuses both hardcore fans and newcomers alike will appreciate.”

Switch Online Added Mega Man 5 For Game Boy And You All Need To Play It
Mega Man 5 is an original game that not enough people played. Now’s your chance to get in on this hidden gem.
On its own, having the Star Force games available on modern hardware is a win, but there’s an even bigger development at play: It could lead to the creation of Mega Man Star Force 4.
Run, Don’t Walk To Go Buy The Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection
In a new interview with Crunchyroll, director Koji Oda and producer Shingo Izumi discussed bringing forward the popular Nintendo DS games to modern consoles, including transitioning the dual-screen titles into a single-screen format.
There, Izumi was asked about the potential of revisiting Star Force 4, a title that was in development before being canceled by Capcom, largely being attributed to poor sales of its predecessors. However, with the Star Force Legacy Collection out, it could lead to a revival.
“At the moment, we are fully focused on delivering this title to as many players as possible, so it’s difficult to think too far ahead,” Izumi said. “That said, we sincerely hope that Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection will be played by so many people that it inspires us to consider developing a Star Force 4 in the future.”
It’s not an outright confirmation that Star Force 4 will happen, but given how long it’s been since we last heard of Star Force, it’s as good of an indicator as any. It seems like sales will be the ultimate determiner whether the project gets revived, so Mega Man fans will have one more shot to make it happen. In other words, never say never when it comes to Star Force.
