Early in Life Is Strange: Reunion, you meet up with Moses with the hope of figuring out how to stop Caledon University from burning down.
However, before you can truly get into that business, Moses wants to test your rewind powers. After all, he and Max have been having constant practise sessions between the events of Double Exposure and Reunion. You missed those sessions, but you get to be part of this one. It consists of three tests that challenge your rewind skills. This is how you can complete all of them.
How To Find Out Who Killed The Swordmaster Frostbite
For the first test, Moses wants you to tell him who killed Swordmaster Frostbite in the anime No True Samurai. Max is not an expert in anime, so you have to look around the office to figure out who he is talking about.
To answer this, you must find a poster and a figure.
The poster is on the other side of the room from where Moses is standing. It’s hung up on the brick wall, near some paint and a stepladder. You will see the word “No True Samurai” on it. Look at it to learn some plot details.
The figure, however, is upstairs. It’s on top of the smaller, metal bookcase to the right of the kettle. The figure looks like a schoolgirl.
Inspect the figure and read the bottom of it to discover that her name is Mina Hiramatsu.
Now that information is in Max’s head, do a full rewind to before Moses asked the question. Then, speak to him and say “Mina Hiramatsu” to pass the first test.

How To Get The Mug Out Of Moses Cabinet Without Breaking It
Moses’ second test tasks you with retrieving something from his locked cabinet at his workstation on the other side of the room.
Start by grabbing the screwdriver that is above and to the right of the cabinet.
With this, go break the lock off the cabinet door.
As a result, Moses’ mug will fly out and smash on the floor. So, do a quick rewind to repair the mug and get it back in the cabinet. Now that you know that will happen, though, you can be prepared.
Therefore, head to the other side of the stairs where Moses’ comfy desk chair is. Go up to it and grab the cushion that’s on it. Max will automatically put the cushion down beneath the cabinet and break the door open. The mug then drops on the cushion, keeping it safe.
Once you’ve picked up the mug, rewind to fix the cabinet door, then give the mug to Moses to finish test two.
How To Stop Moses From Setting Fire To His Office
To start the final test, Moses asks you to stand on an ‘X’ on the floor, so follow his instructions. Then, he prepares to drop his mug from upstairs.
Before he can, though, his terrible kettle starts to set fire to the table next to him. To save him, you need to instantly rewind. Following this, you must stop it from happening again, so run upstairs to unplug the kettle.
You may not have time to make it all the way to the kettle and unplug it in one go before it catches on fire. Yet, Max’s rewind ability doesn’t impact her. Therefore, you can get close to the kettle and rewind to before it starts sparking. This gives you time to turn it off long before it sets Moses on fire.
This wasn’t the test Moses had planned, but it still counts. So, when you’ve saved Moses from his kettle, you’ve completed the final test and proved your rewinding prowess.
