Artificial Detective is a new action adventure game just announced for PS5, and we must admit, the premise has us intrigued.
Set in a dystopian mega city controlled by rogue robots, humankind appears to have gone missing a long time ago. Naturally, it’s up to titular character AD 2846 to get to the bottom of this mystery.
The game’s art direction is top notch based on this initial trailer — and so it’s no surprise to learn that the development team, VIVIX, is apparently made up of artists from across games and film.
Artificial Detective’s described as “a cinematic adventure that blends action, companionship, and mystery in a striking Art Deco future”.
Gameplay-wise, it’s supposed to be a mix of sandbox action encounters, and exploration that takes you across a total of “ten unique city districts”. Again, it sounds really promising.
