Leveling up in Scritchy Scratchy takes time, but the rewards are well worth it. Instead of XP, you collect Jackpot Points to spend on buffs when you prestige. When your playthrough is stagnating, and the income is slowing, it is a good idea to select Prestige and choose to spend whatever JP you have accumulated.
The prestige buffs can make your next run faster, stronger, and luckier than before, if you choose the right prestige boosters. Here is everything you need to know about Prestige Jackpot Points, and the best buffs to get first.
How To Prestige In Scritchy Scratchy
As you play and win money, you hit the target in the top left corner, and this triggers the Prestige button on the right. In parentheses next to the Prestige button, you will see how many JP you need to spend.
Getting jackpots is all down to luck, of course, but you can help boost that by spending cash on your Scratch Luck upgrade. When you have a good amount of JP, you can click and hold Prestige to end the run and go to the Prestige screen.
You’ll gain Jackpot Points by scratching tickets with winning jackpots.
On the Prestige Screen, you have an option to unlock the Night Market, where you can spend tokens on cosmetics, and three options along the top, with more available as you unlock previous selections. There are also buffs on the very left that are unlocked automatically as you die to the Final Chance Card for the first four times. These are as follows:
- 1st death — Muscle Memory: +25% on all tickets.
- 2nd death — Allowance: Start with $100.
- 3rd death — Super Lucky: Super Jackpots are less rare.
- 4th death — Time Travel: Start with the Egg Timer.
The rest of the buffs are your own choice, but some cannot be selected until previous options have been unlocked. Some can also be upgraded, making the buff stronger than it was before.
