There is a hidden Abyss Nexus in Pailune city in Crimson Desert, shown on your map by a ‘Mysterious Energy’ marker. To activate it, you need to first find an Abyss Transporter – these are hidden across Pywel, shown on your map as small white circles, though usually underground in a ruin.
This guide walks you through where to find an Abyss Transporter and how to actually access it, and then how to install it into the Pailune City Abyss Nexus to allow fast travel to make your life (and questing) a little bit easier.
Where To Find The Abyss Transporter
The closest Abyss Transporter to Pailune City is located in the Karin Quarry. Once you have completed the mission there to operate the crane and remove the stone blocking the entrance to the underground ruins, you can jump down and collect the Abyss Transporter.
However, you will need to have learned Focus Palm Force from the Scholastone Quest in Act Four, and collected the Kuku Pot from the Kilnden Workshop quest in Act Four.
You are not able to access the room (or pick up the Transporter) with the Transporter unless you have done so.
Head to the Karin Quarry and enter the ruins via the large Abyss structure in the middle of the quarry. Just drop into the dark.
Once inside, you will find a large door. You need to use Focus Palm Force to activate this, just like you learned how to do during the Scholastone quest. Wait for the circle in the middle to flash bright white, and then hit it with the Palm Force.
There are some turrets inside the ruins that will periodically shoot you. They can’t be damaged, so just wait until it fires, then go into Focus mode.
How To Activate The Nexus In Pailune City
Inside, you will find the Abyss Transporter. Watch out for the turret here. I had an annoying bug where it shot me midway through using Axiom Force to grab it and seal it in my Kuku Pot, and I had to reload my save because the Transporter disappeared. Once you have the Transporter, you can return to Pailune City.
The Abyss Nexus is hidden under some bushes, but you can light these on fire using your Blinding Flash and concentrate the blade on the bushes. They will burn away, revealing the Nexus underneath. Use the “Discard” option on the Transporter in the Kuku Pot, and it will spit it out.
Use Axiom Force to drag the Transporter over the empty slot, then jump and use Palm Force to slam it into place. This will activate the Nexus and allow you to fast travel back to Pailune whenever you need.
