Samsung is making foldables accessible to everyone with a massive discount on its budget clamshell. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE has just hit a new record low price at Amazon. Here is why you should grab this 37% off deal today.
Foldable smartphones are largely considered niche products because of their unique form and steep pricing. However, Samsung introduced the budget friendly Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE as a more affordable alternative to the standard Flip 7. Even better, it is currently on sale at Amazon for a new low price of $600 which is down from its original $959 tag.
The deal applies to the 256 GB model in Black and saves you $359 or 37%. This discount makes the higher storage tier even cheaper than the 128 GB option. The White variant is also discounted to $673 which remains a much better value than the base configuration.
Why Choose the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE (comparison review) in July alongside its latest generation of foldables. It is currently our favorite choice for users on a tight budget who want to experience a flexible form factor. While it costs less than the flagship Flip 7, it is a highly capable device that shares many specifications with the previous Flip 6.
The design features a compact clamshell build within a lightweight aluminum frame. Similar to the premium models, it carries an IP48 rating for dust and water resistance. It is arguably the most durable flip-style foldable currently available on the market.
The outer display of the Flip 7 FE is a 3.4-inch AMOLED panel with a distinct tab shape. You can run select apps on this cover screen without unfolding the device. If you want to use a wider range of apps on the small screen you will need to install the Good Lock app. This display is impressively bright and maxes out at 2,600 nits while being protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Unfolding the device reveals a main 6.7-inch AMOLED display. It matches the cover screen in brightness but adds a faster 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. There is a 10 MP inner camera for selfies and video calls. The main camera system consists of a 50 MP primary sensor and a 12 MP ultrawide lens. These sensors capture photos with rich colors and can record video in 4K resolution.
The primary difference in this Fan Edition model is the processor. The Flip 7 FE utilizes an Exynos 2500 SoC. This chipset is far from slow and provides flagship-level performance. Most users will not even notice a speed difference when compared to the standard Galaxy Z Flip 7.
The battery is a modest 4,000 mAh cell that allows the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE to last an entire day under normal usage. Charging is quite efficient with the device capable of a full recharge from flat in just about an hour.
