Navigating the world of cell phone carrier costs can boggle the mind. There are so many different plans and tiers out there, and companies seem to love tacking on additional charges for every new feature.
That’s one of many reasons that Mint Mobile consistently lands near the top of our Readers’ Choice surveys for mobile carriers. Its transparent pricing, large service area, and consistently good customer service make the $15 a month cost an absolute bargain.
Now, Mint is throwing in a big discount on a spectacular new Samsung phone? We’re listening, and you should, too.
For a limited time, new customers save $400 instantly on the entire Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup with a 12-month Unlimited plan (itself only $15 a month, but you have to pay the entire thing up front for a total of $180). Mint topped the list in its price range on our rundown of the best cheap phone plans for its unlimited calling and texting on parent company T-Mobile’s massive network.
What does that $400 off get you? There are three models in the Galaxy S26 line, and they’re all excellent. The Galaxy S26 starts at $899.99, the S26+ starts at $1,099.99, and the S26 Ultra starts at $1,299.99, with upgrades from the 256GB onboard storage increasing the cost. We have a detailed comparison of all three, but here’s the short version:

The baseline Galaxy S26 improves on the last generation with a bigger screen, upping the Dynamic AMOLED 2X display to 6.3 inches, as well as a more capacious battery. All three phones use the exceptional Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy CPU, with this one also including 12GB of RAM. You can upgrade the 256GB of storage to 512GB.
The S26+ has a bigger screen at 6.7 inches, and a bigger battery, but one of the most notable improvements is support for mmWave 5G, the fastest form of 5G connectivity currently available. It’s a solid midrange pick that gives you the best of both worlds.

If you really want to splurge, the S26 Ultra is packed to the gills with tech. System RAM can be expanded to 16GB and storage up to a full terabyte. The onboard cameras are also exceptional, with 200MP, 50MP, 50MP, and 10MP rear cameras and a 12MP front-facing lens. The mmWave 5G seen on the S26+ is also present here, as well as a cool new Privacy Display screen feature that uses angled pixels to make your phone harder to see from the side. We gave it an “Excellent” rating in our review.
Have an old phone? Mint will give you another $200 off for a trade-in, bringing your total savings to $600. This is an unbeatable deal, no matter which model you choose.
