You may have forgotten about this one, but back at The Game Awards 2025, developer GPTRACK50 announced Stupid Never Dies, a fast-paced action RPG that looks mad in the best way.
Headed up by ex-Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, the game is looking like complete mayhem in its latest gameplay trailer:
It really strikes us as one of those games that’ll divide opinion; some will love its vivid pop-punk aesthetic, rapid progression system, and chaotic combat, but all these bold choices will attract some hate too.
We reckon it looks like a lot of fun. Playing as a zombie aiming to revive his frozen girlfriend, you have what looks like a ton of different abilities at your disposal, and there’s definitely some musou-style satisfaction to fighting so many enemies at once.
It almost looks like something Suda51 would cook up, and we’re definitely down for that kind of thing, but it’s obviously not to everyone’s tastes.
