Pokemon Pokopia is a game that’s heavily reliant on you having the right resources available at the right time. In fact, much of the core gameplay loop is built around finding a specific element in significant quantities. If you want to get a lot of that element quickly, the best way is a Dream Island.
Dream Islands can be visited once a day, and can be excavated completely in order to reap the rewards of a fully stocked inventory. Once you unlock them, you should be using them consistently, either to reach a goal you’re currently striving for, or to stock up for any future projects.
How Many Dream Islands Are There, And What Resources Do They Have?
There are a total of five different Dream Islands, all accessed by a total of seven specific dolls. Once there, you’ll find three specific resources in abundance. But don’t stop there. Any loose items or even buildings on that island can all be looted. Make sure to empty your inventory of everything but food to power up your PP, and upgrade it to steal even more resources.

How To Unlock Dream Islands
Dream Islands can be unlocked from early on in the game, they just require you to search around the first area, the Withered Wasteland, in a bit of depth. To start with, go to the left of the main area (as you face the Poke Center) and beyond it you will see a Drifloon on the coast.
Talk to Drifloon, and it will ask for two things: a habitat, and a doll. The habitat is just three lit campfires next to each other, and the doll can be found in the right-hand side area of Withered Wasteland. Once these two things are done, Drifloon will take you to this island. You likely won’t have a big inventory yet, so drop stuff off before heading out.
After that, you can visit this island once per day, and will unlock more dolls as the game goes on, to ensure you can always stock up on the right ingredients at the right time.
