ChatGPT is being used for everything, from writing emails to virtual companionship. As much as us lot who like to perform daily tasks the old-fashioned way don’t like it, generative AI isn’t going anywhere, and it sucks.
If you aren’t a fan of this either, then you’ll probably find this new viral game quite cathartic. Your AI Slop Bores Me is a new site that is set out like ChatGPT or any other kind of AI chatbot, allowing you to write a prompt to be carried out. The only difference is that all of the prompts are handled by an actual human being, so any art you get is hand-made, and all questions are answered by real humans.
Your AI Slop Bores Me Is What We Need Right Now
To handle all of the requests, there’s a “LARP as AI mode” where you answer the prompts. This means doodling a user’s request to the best of your abilities and giving them incredibly reliable advice on whatever concerns they have. Completing a prompt earns you a token, which can then be used to send a prompt of your own.
Having played around with it for a bit, the time it takes to have your question or request answered is anywhere from one to five minutes. So, it might not be speedy, but you can’t rush perfection. I mean, look at the feature image for this article! Someone drew Alistair from Dragon Age for me. And it’s beautiful. Someone also recommended I play Pizza Tower, which is handy, because the guy here who usually does that isn’t in today.
If anything, it’s just nice to see people come together and have a laugh over the human mind and creativity, all while society appears to be perfectly okay with replacing both with AI. So, maybe hop in and make a stranger laugh with your best attempt at doodling whatever they request, or writing a fanfic someone asks for. It’s kinda sweet that everyone is putting this effort in for someone they’ve never met.
