How To Upgrade Your Backpack
When you first get started, you’ll notice that your inventory is rather small. You’ll only have two rows of space in your bag, so you’ll be stopping off at home frequently to drop items in a chest before you can go back to grab more items.

How To Make A Realm Box
Once you obtain the Intermediate Crafter certification, you can purchase the Realm Box Blueprint from the General Store. This is a special blueprint that allows you to create a chest that links up with others of its kind and can be used in your inventory. You’ll need the following materials to make it at Workbench II:
- Alloy (5)
- Spirit Cube I (3)
- Starflare Core (5)
- Hardwood Plank (6)
While not permanently increasing your inventory space, the Realm Box acts as a vital tool when running around the Moonlit Forest collecting resources. You can use this to store food, materials, and ammo so that you don’t have to make as many trips home.
You can also place and use the Realm Box on your home plots to access materials without having to cart them around. This is a necessary tool late-game when you’ll have numerous properties across the island.
