If you care even the slightest bit about Resident Evil Requiem‘s story, it’s time to get off the internet since pretty much the whole game has leaked and been shared online.
Don’t worry, we won’t be mentioning any of the things that have popped up online.
2026 has already had a few big releases like Nioh 3, Mewgenics, and Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, but Resident Evil Requiem is easily the first truly massive game of the year. The ninth mainline Resident Evil game not only introduces a new character in the form of Grace, but also aims to give us closure on Leon Kennedy’s story.
Requiem is such a big deal that even after a ton of trailers and appearances in showcases, it feels like we’ve barely seen any of the game at all. Well, that quickly looked like it was going to change earlier this week when physical copies of the game ended up making their way into fans’ hands a whole week earlier than intended.
Resident Evil Requiem’s Ending Is Already Out There
Stay Safe, My Fellow Kennedy Diehards
Ever since those physical copies leaked and people were clearly making their way through Requiem, it’s only been a matter of time until big spoilers started popping up. That time is now, since it looks like nearly all of Requiem’s big moments and twists have made their way online, both in video and summary format.
As someone who got hit with some of these spoilers without even looking for them, I can confirm that Requiem’s ending and several other massive surprises that Capcom clearly didn’t want to show are already out there. In fact, so far it seems like Capcom hasn’t taken any of the videos down, so they’re pretty easy to find.
Considering we’re still more than a week away from Requiem’s launch, it’s pretty disappointing to already have to avoid spoilers like this. Even the most diehard Resi fans are going to have a tough time staying off the internet and away from all the leaks for a whole week, so if you do care about the game’s story, then now is the time to start being very careful.
