The Heartopia Winter Frost Event is in full swing, and if you’ve spent the time hunting down every colorful cracked egg during it, you’ll now be the owner of 16 egg sculptures and a brand-new recipe. The egg hunt sent you around the world of Heartopia, specifically Onsen Mountain, which is the heart of the festive fun.
Now that you have your cracked eggs, you can enjoy your rewards, one of which is the recipe for an Onsen Egg. Unlike regular recipes, this one calls for a very special way of cooking.
Where To Cook The Onsen Egg
Heartopia has a variety of different recipes for the cooking hobby. Usually, you’ll need at least three different ingredients, some you grow yourself in your garden, and others you purchase from Massimo. The Onsen Egg, however, only needs one ingredient, and that’s the egg itself, which you buy from Massimo.
Massimo is usually in the city center with all the other NPCs, but during the Winter Frost Event, he can be found near the Winter Utopia bus stop and igloo. He’s under the colorful roof near the penguin cookers and will be stationed there for the entire event, so you can locate him quickly and easily.
After purchasing the egg, head towards Onsen Mountain, but specifically the hot springs. There is one right next to the Onsen Mountain bus stop. Upon arrival, locate the small baskets submerged in the water. Approach a basket to see an icon above it and interact to begin cooking your Onsen Egg.
The hot springs are the only area where you can cook this type of egg; they cannot be made in a cooker and because they cannot burn, you can cook an egg in each basket at the same time without having to worry that they will be ruined.
A three-star Onsen Egg can sell for around 260 gold.
