Welcome to Become. Become is the story of “one in millions,” of a protagonist spermatozoon—one single sperm—on its quest to fertilize an egg. Like, there are days when I’m not sure if I even believe what I’m writing, and this is one of them. Let’s just… let’s just keep going.

Check out the official trailer (!) above. Notice the, uh, cute (?) spermatozoon with the glasses and the happy face? That’s you. That’s me. That’s everybody who ever made it. That’s us. We are being represented. And it’s our job to get ourselves to where we were fated to be. Or to just keep losing over and over again, I guess, and presumably watch as that big and muscular rival spermatozoon hogs the glory.
We don’t want that, do we? Good thing Become features at least four skillsets, each with slottable abilities, like the one that’s called Come Again, because of course it is. I don’t want to sound dismissive because there’s every chance Become will be a great video game. But I think there’s got to be an element here, whether intentional or otherwise, of creating something that’s got a higher-than-average chance of going viral. And, you kind of need that push, you know? To go big. To get noticed. To be the sperm who gets the egg.
There’s honestly nothing else that I can conceivably say here, and yes, that was a pun. So, I’ll close things out by letting the Steam page description speak for itself:
