Hold on to your butts, and grab this while you can. Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection, released at the tail end of 2023, will no longer be available for digital purchase as of March 31, 2026. Physical copies will continue to circulate, but given that the whole project was helmed by Limited Run Games, um, good luck finding it once folks realize what they’ve got on their hands.
With a licensing deal set to expire, LRG has no choice but to pull the plug—but it’s the latest painful reminder that this stuff happens. And there’s something uniquely upsetting about it occurring to a game that’s literally just… a bundle of older video games.
They’ve Decided Not To Further Endorse The Park
Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection includes the following:
- Jurassic Park for NES
- Jurassic Park for SNES
- Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues for SNES
- Jurassic Park for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive
- Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive
- Jurassic Park for Game Boy
- Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues for Game Boy
The SNES and Game Boy versions of both games are pretty dang different, and don’t let “Rampage Edition” fool you; that one’s a straight-up sequel to the first game on Sega’s 16-bit hardware. Put plainly, this is a sweet deal for fans of the old-school JP gaming scene, and loads of fun for anybody who never gave ‘em a shot. I have a particular fondness for the Sega fare here, but the SNES titles are just as good, if not better.
Alas. As announced on Steam, the developers have shared the depressing news that it’ll be impossible to snag the games digitally beginning March 31. They made sure to include that you’ll be able to redownload the collection if you’ve bought it, so no worries there, at least.

Wario64 includes links to various storefronts which are selling the game for a nice discount right now. $5.99 USD on PlayStation? I’ll take it. Well, I won’t, because I grabbed the physical version on release, but I’ll happily recommend these games wherever you feel like buying ‘em. Real love letter stuff. Man, this should never be a thing, but here we are.
