One of the biggest surprises of My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is how brutally challenging it can be, which is incredibly evident in the final few chapters of its Final War Arc story mode.
Without a doubt, though, the toughest challenge you’ll face in All’s Justice is against its final boss, All For One Chaos, who can absolutely wipe the floor with you at pretty much any point in the lengthy fight.
How We Are Here Works
We Are Here is the final chapter of My Hero Academia: All’s Justice, and it’s where you’ll face the game’s final boss, All For One Chaos. As the name suggests, We Are Here has you playing as most of Class 1-A as they try to give Deku a bit of time to recover his strength and finish All For One for good.
That sounds simple enough, but one of the big challenges of We Are Here is that it’s a marathon of a boss battle. There are a total of eight rounds to get through, and you’ll need to defeat All For One Chaos in all of them. The first seven rounds have you playing as a team of two or three Class 1-A characters, while the final round puts you back in Deku’s shoes against an even stronger All For One.
The teams for each round are as follows:
- Round 1 – Hanta Sero, Mashirao Ojiro, and Rikido Sato
- Round 2 – Denki Kaminari, Momo Yaoyorozu, and Minoru Mineta
- Round 3 – Shoto Todoroki and Endeavour
- Round 4 – Kyoka Jiro and Present Mic
- Round 5 – Tsuyu Asui, Mezo Shoji, and Koji Koda
- Round 6 – Mina Ashido and Eijiro Kirishima
- Round 7 – Tenya Iida, Yuga Aayoma, and Toru Hagakure
- Round 8 – Izuku Midoriya Rising
If any of your teams get defeated during the fight, you have to go through the whole chapter from the very start. That means basically perfecting the fight, understanding how to avoid all of All For One Chaos’ ridiculously overpowered moves, and making the most of the characters in each team. Let’s start with All For One Chaos’ many abilities.
My Hero Academia: All’s Justice – How Long Does It Take To Beat?
All’s Justice is surprisingly packed with content, including one fight that’ll take all of your time.
All For One Chaos’ Moves And How To Counter Them
Thorn Projectiles
The first move that All For One has, and one that he’ll always use at the start of the fight, is a projectile attack where he summons a bunch of thorns and fires them at you. You’ll know he’s using this attack when he lifts both arms. While you can dodge it with perfect timing, it’s easier to just block it and tank the hits.
Laser Turrets
One of All For One’s most powerful moves sees him placing a bunch of turrets on the ground that fire massive lasers. These turrets can obliterate your health if they so much as touch you, so your best bet is to jump over them and try to reach All For One while he fires them. This attack does leave him wide open, so it’s one of your best opportunities to deal damage.
Ground Sweep
Another incredibly damaging move to look out for is All For One’s ground sweep, which sends a bunch of dark arms running along the ground to stampede you. The only reliable way to avoid this attack is by jumping over it, and you’ll need good timing to make sure it doesn’t catch you on the way down. All For One isn’t left open for long with this one, so just focus on avoiding the attack.
Later on in the fight, All For One will mix this move up a bit by creating a massive field of dark energy, which the arms will stampede in for a little while. This change actually makes the move easier to dodge since you can just avoid the area, and it leaves All For One fairly open when it’s active since he won’t move away.
Orb Projectiles
Perhaps the most annoying move in All For One’s arsenal is another type of projectile. All For One will summon multiple red and black orbs that hang above him for a few seconds before turning into spikes and hitting the player. These deal so much damage that your only real option is to dodge or jump dash at the right time, which is after a few flashes.
Later on in the fight, All For One can send these orbs moving toward you, which can be difficult to avoid. Your best bet is to keep them in view and then watch for the flashes.
Underground Thorn
As if All For One didn’t use enough thorns in his moveset, he also has an attack where he sends one underground and towards you. This sneaky move will end with three sharp thorns sticking out of the ground, but it’s not so bad if you change direction or run away from the attack once you see the ground moving beneath you.
Melee Swipe
All For One doesn’t have as many melee attacks as he does projectiles, but he will occasionally close in on you and swipe you once or twice with his dark wings, often as retaliation if you attack him too much. The best way out of this is to dodge, emergency dodge, or outright avoid him when you see him stand still and grow a wing.
All For One will usually teleport away once he’s finished his melee attack, so there’s not much chance to deal damage to him.
Explosion
All For One also has a big revenge move that he’ll use when you’ve dealt too much damage to him, sometimes after a Plus Ultra attack. This move sees him gathering a massive amount of energy for a huge AOE explosion, which is almost guaranteed to hit. Yes, I know how unfair that is, but you can either try your luck and run away or use an Emergency Dodge to at least cut the damage down.
During Deku’s phase of the fight, All For One has a variant of this attack that brings you down to one hit point. There’s nothing to do here other than instantly use your Plus Ultra to heal.
Minefield
One of the moves that All For One will introduce as you get further in the rounds is a minefield of thorny orbs. These will deal massive damage if you run into them, so it’s best to stay back and focus on projectile attacks as much as you can.
Tips And Tricks For Defeating All For One
All For One’s attacks are cut short if you manage to deplete his armour and stun him. It’s risky, but sometimes it’s worth rushing him and aiming to remove the armour instead of playing it safe at a distance. Once his armour is depleted, attack him as much as you can and swap teammates for combos as much as possible, before hitting him with a Plus Ultra attack before he recovers.
Make good use of your counterattacks and quirks instead of just spamming basic attacks over and over. Some quirks, like Denki’s lightning shots, can deal some surprisingly big damage.
Most of All For One’s moves are also much less effective if you’re behind him, so try to stick to his back whenever possible. There are some exceptions, like his winged melee attack, but a good majority of his moves are front-facing. Hitting him with projectiles from far away is also a great tactic to give yourself room.
Deku’s final phase is the most stressful of them all, but he does have a little trick up his sleeve. Using any Plus Ultra attack in this phase will cause Deku to recover a large portion of his health. When you reach the last few Rounds, make sure to save up Plus Ultra to give Deku enough meter to heal with.
And, if all else fails, there’s a non-zero chance that Bandai and Byking make this fight much easier in the future, so it might be worth waiting for a patch.
