As the seemingly final game in the series and a send-off to MHA as a whole, My Hero Academia: All’s Justice has a massive roster of over 50 characters, including every Class 1-A student for the first time.
While All’s Justice is surprisingly generous with how many characters it lets you play as when you start the game, there are three characters in particular who are locked off until you make enough progress.
We’re specifically talking about the story mode unlocks in this guide, but we’ll have one on the Team-Up Mission unlocks soon.
How To Unlock Izuku Midoriya Rising
The most desirable unlockable character in All’s Justice, Izuku Midoriya Rising, can be unlocked in two different ways. The first is by purchasing the Playable Character Early Unlock Pack for $2.99, which lets you play as Rising Deku from the start of the game. This was also offered as a pre-order bonus.
If you don’t want to shell out extra money or didn’t pre-order, then you’ll have to complete the story mode of All’s Justice to get Deku Rising. Once you’ve beaten the final mission, We Are Here, and seen the ending cutscene, you’ll get access to him and can use him in Free Battle whenever you like.
How To Unlock All For One Chaos
All For One Chaos is unlocked in the same way as Deku Rising, as you’ll either need to purchase the Playable Character Early Unlock Pack (or have received it as a pre-order bonus) or complete the game’s final story mission. Once you do that, you’ll unlock All For One Chaos at the same time as Deku Rising.
You do at least get a few chances to play as All For One Chaos in the game’s story mode, which will give you a glimpse at how overpowered he is.
How To Unlock All For One Rewind
The true unlockable character of My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is All For One Rewind. Unlike Deku Rising and AFO Chaos, Rewind can only be unlocked in one way and isn’t included in the Playable Character Early Unlock Pack. That being said, the unlock requirement for Rewind is the same as those two characters.
To unlock All For One Rewind, you’ll need to, you guessed it, complete the game’s story mode. Doing so will add him to your roster, along with Deku Rising and All For One Chaos if you didn’t get those two with the pre-order bonus or purchase.
