“All three season pass expansions are included in this edition, adding new modes, challenges, and ways to fight for New York,” the PS Store description reads. “The Definitive Edition also includes gear sets, weapon skins, and customization options, everything you need to stand out as an elite agent.”
The base PS4 game is on PS Plus Extra, so you can still try the original experience out through the subscription service. If you’re playing on PS5, then there are at least some minor enhancements when played on the current-gen console via backwards compatibility. It was patched in December to run at 60 frames-per-second.
