Da Pan is a solid middle-of-the-park DPS operator in Arknights: Endfield. While he can deal some okay physical damage overall, his specialty is mostly dealing lots of AoE damage with his large AoE ultimate ability and working alongside other physical operators to gain stacks of Vulnerability.

How To Farm Essences For Da Pan’s Weapons
You can find the matching weapon essences via the Operations Manual. Just head into Daily and check out the Severe Energy Alluviums. Here you will find which one you need to run to farm the essences on your weapon of choice.
All essences you earn will have a random combination based on the recommended weapons. If you want to get specific essences, you will need to use Valley Permits from the Stock Distribution Service.

Best Da Pan Gear Sets
Da Pan is looking for a gear set that provides his main attributes and a good boost to his main attribute, Strength. There are a few different armors that work for Vulnerability stacking and provide Strength, but the Aethertech kit is the best pick.
Da Pan has Strength as his main attribute and Will as his secondary. You should pick pieces of gear that have these boosted.

The Aethertech gear set is all around generating Vulnerability. It boosts Da Pan’s damage based on when he applies Vulnerability and stacking up to four stacks of Vulnerability activates a further damage boost. |

This mid-game gear set is straightforward. It provides Strength. Whenever you cast a battle skill, combo skill, or an ultimate, you also get an extra 5% DMG for 15s. |
You only need three set pieces to activate the set bonus, which means you can often mix and match the fourth piece based on the stat line that best suits your character. In the case of the Aethertech gear, though, this actually comes with the full four pieces that complement each other. Alternatively, you could use the Physical damage gloves from the Swordmancer kit.

You can use four characters at once in Arknights: Endfield, with their abilities bouncing off of each other in the form of combo moves.
Da Pan relies heavily on having a full Physical team, stacking Vulnerability to give him the required damage boost to actually perform in battles. In our ideal best team for Da Pan, we rely on the Vulnerability stacking of Lifeng to activate both Da Pan and Pogranichnik. Ardelia is here to offer support via her Corruption.
- Da Pan wants to apply and build stacks of Vulnerability.
- Lifeng applies Vulnerability relatively easy with his battle skill and combo rotation.
- Pogranichnik has his combo activated when Crush or Breach consumes Vulnerability stacks, which is what Da Pan does relatively easily.
- Ardelia applies Corruption which increases physical damage dealt to targeted enemies.
Da Pan Ability Overview And Upgrade Priority
Da Pan has a pretty straightforward kit, especially compared to an operator like Pogranichnik.
- Da Pan’s battle skill is Flip Da Wok, which lifts enemies into the air and deals damage. Lift counts as a physical affliction, so it applies Vulnerability.
- Da Pan’s combo, More Space, is activated when an enemy reaches a total of four stacks of Vulnerability. Da Pan launches in to deal lots of physical damage and applies Crush, which in turn applies more Vulnerability.
- Da Pan’s ultimate does a bunch of AoE damage over the course of six separate attacks that both Lift and Knock Down enemies, further applying Vulnerability.
