The Sims 4 Players Boot Up Raunchy Mods 400,000 Times A Day

The Sims 4 is all about daily life and everything that comes with it. You create your perfect people, have them go to work, fall in love, and achieve their goals. It’s about as close to real life in a video game as you can get, and comes with all the processes that are involved, such as getting butt naked and doing a Woo-Hoo to make a baby.

Obviously, The Sims 4 does its best to cover things up and make things as PG as it physically can. You can’t see much in The Sims 4 when you’re getting down and jiggy with it, just some rustling under the covers and maybe a limb or two poking out. That’s where mods come in though, as a mod called Wicked Whims has been around for over a decade to spice things up in every Sims’ bedroom.

Not only does the mod add full nudity to the game, but it also adds a lot of raunchy positions for Sims to get into, along with menstrual cycles, fertility tracking, birth control, and STIs. Not all of it is filthy, but I can almost guarantee the majority of people that download the mod are up to no good.

The Sims 4 Lovestruck's vibrating bed woohoo with love hearts around the bed and steam coming from it.

And it turns out, quite a lot of The Sims 4’s playerbase is up to no good. First reported by a German outlet called Taz (translated by PC Gamer), the creator of Wicked Whims — Turbodriver — estimated exactly how many people are booting up their mod every day, and according to them, it’s around 400,000 times.

“That’s how often my server is pinged,” says Turbodriver. “Because someone starts the game and has installed the mod.”

Unfortunately, the exact number of users that have the mod downloaded isn’t known, and that 400,000 figure is the amount of times a game is booted up with the mod installed, so it doesn’t give us a very accurate number. Even then, that’s an absolutely staggering number of players, and more players than I actually expected to be playing The Sims 4 on a daily basis.

Even if you slash that number in half, that’s still more players than the likes of Baldur’s Gate 3, Marvel Rivals, and Rust. You have The Sims 4 players putting up live service numbers just for raunchy mods, and I can respect that entirely.
