Tomb Raider is preparing for one of its biggest eras in years, perhaps the most exciting time for fans of the series since the release of the original trilogy. With new games and an Amazon adaptation in its immediate future, Funko has chipped in with three new Lara Croft Pops that celebrate Tomb Raider’s past.
Three Funko Pops Representing Different Eras From Tomb Raider History Have Been Revealed
Revealed today via the official Tomb Raider Twitter account, the latest Lara Croft Funko Pops have been pulled from different moments in Tomb Raider history. The series’ PS1 roots are represented, as is Croft’s wetsuit look from Tomb Raider 2, and even a Pop based on the hero’s design in Angel of Darkness.
The low-poly Pop is the one that is getting the most attention as, after 30 years, it is still the Lara Croft design Tomb Raider fans are most familiar with. Even though the first Tomb Raider game was originally released on the Sega Saturn, it is synonymous with the PS1. In that game, Lara Croft had a very pointy low-poly design, and now that design will live on in Funko Pop form.
Funko Pop fans are hopeful this will kickstart a low-poly collection akin to the 8-bit figure range. If Funko is taking requests, I’d like a low-poly Crash Bandicoot next, please.

Sophie Turner is definitely looking the part.
Angel Of Darkness And Sola Wetsuit Funko Pops Revealed
Moving on up the Tomb Raider timelines, we have Sola wetsuit Lara Croft from Tomb Raider 2. Launching only two years after the original Tomb Raider, Croft was still mostly pretty big polygons at this stage. However, her wetsuit Funko Pop is not. There are probably a couple of reasons for that. One, Funko didn’t want two-thirds of the new figures to be polygonal, and two, Croft’s ’97 wetsuit look will be dusted off via a pre-order bonus skin in the upcoming Tomb Raider remake, Legacy of Atlantis.
Rounding out the trio of Lara Croft Funko Pops is a figure based on how the iconic protagonist looks in Angel of Darkness. An entry in the series that is often looked down upon by fans, but it has getting something of a second lease on life lately. That’s largely thanks to its inclusion in the second collection of Tomb Raider remasters. Whether you enjoyed Angel of Darkness thanks to its remaster, or you’ve quietly admired it the whole time, you can now pair up that fandom with a Funko Pop from the too often maligned Tomb Raider game.
The low-poly and Angel of Darkness Funko Pops are available to pre-order now. The Sola Wetsuit figure isn’t listed yet, possibly because it will be a Funko Store exclusive.
The Tomb Raider train will continue throughout 2026 and into 2027, and it’s loaded up with more than just Funko Pops. The first stop after this, if everything goes to plan, will be the release of the original game’s remake, Legacy of Atlantis. No date yet, but the Sophie Turner-led Amazon adaptation will likely be next on the docket. If so, that will be followed by a brand new entry in the series in 2027, Tomb Raider: Catalyst.
