In Heartopia, you’ll begin a new life in a quaint town where dreams and wishes come true. While here, you’ll meet all new friends and become part of a thriving community, interacting with other players that act as your neighbors on the outskirts of town.
While collecting resources is part of the game, some materials are incredibly rare. In fact, some can only be collected once–maybe twice–per day. We’ll help you locate these materials so you can build a stockpile and craft whatever you’d like when you have the time. Here’s everything you need to know to track down the Roaming Oak Tree.
Where To Find The Roaming Oak Tree
After you initially unlock the Roaming Oak Tree by helping the rangers in the forest, as part of the main quest, you can seek out the Roaming Oak Tree every day. While his location changes every day, you can track him down and collect three Roaming Oak Timber when you find (and free) him.
The location of the Roaming Oak Tree changes each day at server reset, and the new location is random.
Heartopia: Resource Location Guide
Less searching, more crafting.
The best places to look first are around the neighborhood. Often, you can find the Roaming Oak Tree on the edge of residential lots. He’ll be in a panic on the side of the road, so you won’t have to look very far before coming across him.
While the first time you find the tree, he’s trapped in the center of the Spirit Oak Pine Forest, his dream is to explore the world beyond the treeline.
You can recognize the Roaming Oak Tree by his friendly face and acorn satchel, as well as the thick branches tangled around him each morning.
Once you chop the branches keeping the tree in place, a cooldown gauge will appear.
If you can’t find him on the residential home lots, then it’s time to venture around town. Use your scooter to get around quickly, or take the buses to fast travel across the island. A high vantage point like the Jump Puzzle or Whale Mountain can help you locate him faster.
The Roaming Oak Timber you get from freeing him each day can be used to craft specialty furniture or place specialty building materials on your lot, like hydrangea bushes. You’ll need a small stockpile of these materials if you plan on decorating your home with high-quality furniture, so make sure to track down the tree each day!
If you’re having trouble locating the tree, try asking your neighbors around town if they’ve seen it!
