Divinity’s AMA Immediately Starts Off With A Question About Lizard Romancing

Industry darling Larian didn’t really have a great ending to 2025, as CEO Swen Vincke revealed that gen-AI will be used in the development stage of Divinity. While he later revealed that any AI assets will not make it into the final game, a lot of fans were annoyed that the developer even considered using AI. Eventually, an AMA was set up so that the air could be cleared.

While the AMA will kick off on the r/Games subreddit tomorrow at 2 pm CET, fans have already started asking questions on Larian’s announcement tweet. While there are some questions about Divinity’s release window, development practices, D&D rulesets, and other unimportant things, one fan has asked what we all really want to know about: will we be able to sleep with lizards?

Larian Is Already Answering Some Important Questions About Divinity

A Hellstone from the Divinity trailer at The Game Awards.

Baldur’s Gate 3 let us romance Halsin while he was in bear form, so we know that the developer doesn’t mind getting freaky, So when one fan asked about whether we’ll be able to sleep with Lizards, Larian jokingly replied that it will be getting on that feature right now. The fate of the world be damned, romance is more important in Larian RPGs.

“Can I f**k or be f**ked by the lizards?” asked Vexatron1991 on the thread (thanks, GamesRadar), to which Larian replied with the meme of Pingu the penguin saying “well now I am not doing it,” except the text was corrected to say “I am doing it right now.” Maybe the art team is still on holiday, as this was clearly edited in Microsoft Paint.

Divinity Interview with Swen Vincke

Larian Studios’ Swen Vincke On Divinity Following In The Early Access Footsteps Of Baldur’s Gate 3

After the global success of Baldur’s Gate 3, we sit down with Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke to talk all things Divinity.

I’m glad that Larian didn’t wait for the allotted time to answer this question. It’s obviously a very important one, and fans really care about it. With the important things out of the way, the studio can now focus on answering questions about the use of AI, game mechanics, and other non-essential things.
