In Arc Raiders, there are a lot of materials you will scavenge and use to survive the dangerous robots and hostile Raiders. From quest items to weapons to light bulbs, almost everything has a purpose and will be used in some way.
Without question, one of the most important materials in the same is the Simple Gun Parts. Used to craft, upgrade, and repair a large portion of your arsenal, Simple Gun Parts will be one of your most frequently used items. Which is why it’s so important to not only have a nice supply of them, but also know where to find them when your stockpile is depleted.
Where To Find Simple Gun Parts
When it comes to Simple Gun Parts, there are various ways and locations from which you can obtain this material. The most common way is simply by finding it when looting, as it’s fairly common and can be found across all five of the maps. While it’s designated as a Security item, Simple Gun Parts can appear at any point of interest, but will have a higher chance in locations that are designated with this type of loot.
Some key locations to check out when farming for Simple Gun Parts are:
- Launch Tower on Spaceport
- Control Tower on Dam Battlegrounds
- Security Wing on The Blue Gate
Of these three locations, the Security Wing is definitely the best point of interest if you are specifically looking for Simple Gun Parts out in the wild. Part of the underground base on The Blue Gate, this location is broken up across several rooms on two separate floors.
You’ll want to hone your search in the breachable room on the first floor and the rooms on the second floor. The former has several lockers and multiple containers you can search, while the latter typically has a decent amount of loose loot lying around. Plus, the Security Wing has the Red Room, which typically has quite a bit of materials and gear inside.
Launch Tower is another decent option. However, you’ll mainly want to focus on searching in the blue cabinets and red lockers when you reach this point of interest. There are a lot of electrical items here as well, but those are usually scattered around the different computers and stations on either side.
Control Tower also appears to have a decent chance of spawning Simple Gun Parts among its loot, however, this largely relies on whether you have a key for the locked room at the top. Plus, Control Tower is an extremely hot PvP zone, so expect to run into hostile Raiders here — especially if you’re playing duos or trios.
However, the most consistent places you will find Simple Gun Parts are on the corpses of Wasps, Hornets, and Turrets. Typically, these enemies have a very high chance of dropping one to two Simple Gun Parts. Because of this, if you require them, you’ll want to focus on killing these enemies and looting their husks.
You can also typically find Simple Gun Parts in Security Breaches, although this isn’t a fantastic method for farming them unless you know all the different Security Breach spawns on every map.

Alternative Ways To Get Simple Gun Parts
Another method for obtaining Simple Gun Parts is simply by purchasing them via Celeste. You can buy a total of five a day for seven seeds each, which is absolutely something you should take advantage of. Another way to get some Simple Gun Parts is simply through recycling specific materials and weapons you have collected.
These are:

- Arpeggio I-IV
- Burletta I-IV
- Ferro III-IV
- Hairpin III-IV
- Il Toro I-IV
- Kettle III
- Rattler III-IV
- Stitcher III-IV
- Complex Gun Parts
- Heavy Gun Parts
- Light Gun Parts
- Medium Gun Parts
- Unusable Weapon
Recycling any of these will produce anywhere between one and five Simple Gun Parts, depending on the weapon and its current level. You typically want to recycle a weapon once its durability gets too low, and you have no intention of repairing it. Remember, scavenging a weapon or material while still in a raid will yield far fewer materials than if you were to recycle it while out of a session.
Unfortunately, there is no way to actually craft Simple Gun Parts, so you will need to rely on finding, recycling for, or purchasing them. If you focus on searching the corpses of specific ARC and buying them daily from Celeste, you’ll quickly grow a nice collection of Simple Gun Parts you can use to improve your favorite guns.
